Wooden Tea Box
This wooden tea box was built using plywood and laser cutting techniques. As an avid tea-drinker, I needed a box with dividers to hold my favorite teas, whether loose-leaf or bagged. I aimed to give the box to a natural, serene feel to embody my sentiment towards tea.

My goal was to utilize laser cutting techniques to create a live hinge joint for the lid and rounds at the base. Check out the results below.

With rounded edges in different directions, the box manifests an elegant design. The rounds, live joint, and cylindrical center divider were produced using flat pieces of plywood that were laser cut with a repeated pattern to generate flexible properties.
